Hey, I’m Fay. The face behind Foodwithfayth.
From my first steps at a university hospital to developing a groundbreaking approach as a fertility dietitian – discover how I got to my vision for Foodwithfayth.
I’m Fay, 31 years old, and have been working as a specialized dietitian within Foodwithfayth for +/- two years and a half now. As someone who loves to walk her own path, create her own vision and try everything, it took me a while to discover my true passion within this field. My career began in a university hospital, but I soon realized that my deepest passion lay elsewhere. I knew that this would not make me happy in the long run and that I wanted to specialize to truly excel. Exactly what this should be was not clear to me in 2018.
At the time, a daring career switch took me to sunny Mallorca, where I lived for several years. Although I found a new job there and had fully embraced my new daily routine, my inner fire for nutrition and health continued to burn. After a period of self-reflection and consideration, I decided to specialize in nutrition and fertility. The satisfaction I felt in helping my first clients was of another level. “What if, as a dietitian, I could support many women every day in achieving their greatest wish of all?” …….
Officially certified fertility dietitian
The small fire became a big flame, and now it is 2025. I can proudly say that I have realized my vision and am focused daily within my virtual practice on improving each individual’s fertility. As an officially certified fertility dietitian, I have ambitious plans to further spread my mission.
I plan to help thousands of women optimize their fertility, increasing their chances of a natural pregnancy or successful IVF treatment.

Optimal feeding before, during and after pregnancy!
Ever heard of the “first 1,000 days principle? This refers to the crucial period that begins from conception and continues until the baby’ s second year of life . This phase is vital to the child’s development and future health. The principle recognizes that nutrition and lifestyle during these first thousand days have a profound and long-term impact on the health and well-being of both the mother and child.
A clear vision
“At Foodwithfayth, as a fertility dietitian, I strive to create a world where every couple can receive practical, effective and science-based nutritional support before parenthood. This helps to improve pregnancy chances, experience an enjoyable pregnancy and support the health of the future child!”

Health
and affect baby’s growth
The fertility dietitian, a missing link in fertility care. Why?
Preconception Nutrition
Healthy diet and lifestyle before conception can improve fertility and increase the chances of a healthy pregnancy. The fertility dietitian can advise on nutrients important for fertility. In the case of unexplained infertility, she can look for possible causes around nutrition and lifestyle.
Nutrition during pregnancy
Adequate and balanced nutrition during pregnancy is essential for fetal development. The fertility dietitian can help put together a diet that contains enough vitamins, minerals and calories to support the baby’s growth and development.
Postnatal nutrition
After birth, nutrition is crucial for both mother and baby. For the mother, good nutrition helps with recovery and energy, while breastfeeding contributes to the baby’s growth and development. Pregnancy appeals to supplies from the mother. A fertility dietitian can monitor the mother to prevent any symptoms from developing deficiencies.
Nutrition during the first years of life
The first two years are important for the development of healthy eating habits. The fertility dietitian can advise parents on introducing solid foods and promoting a healthy, varied diet for the child.
Long-term health benefits
Good nutrition habits during the first thousand days can reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease later in life. It also promotes healthy growth, cognitive development and immune function. The fertility dietitian helps with prevention and long-term health promotion.
Epigenetics
Nutrition during the first thousand days can affect epigenetic processes, turning certain genes on or off. This can have long-lasting effects on the child’s health and development. The fertility dietitian can help optimize nutrition to promote positive genetic outcomes.
